Girls Soccer Update

When it comes to the Sultana girl’s soccer team, there is nothing stopping them.

“Just go for it, and win,” said Coach P.

Coach P., also known as Daniel Poulmounter a coach and a geometry teacher, was the  Coach of the Year in 2009. He coaches the varsity girls soccer team which has won twelve games, lost three, and tied two…and at times unstoppable.

Last time the girls faced Hesperia, the Sultans won 1-0. The winning goal was scored by Brittney Roberts and was assisted by Megan Morganstern, but it’s always a team effort.

While they prepare to take on crosstown rival Hesperia, the goal for the defending CIF Champions is always to repeat.

“My goal is to go into the CIF championship,” said Coach P.
