Sultana cheerleaders are here to give the school spirit, and raise self-esteem so sports can go out there and win.

All the years that cheer has been here at Sultana High School, they have only cheered for football, basketball, and some years wrestling. This year, 09-10, the cheerleaders are going to start cheering for as many sports as possible.

Rebecca Brown, Sultana cheerleader said, "I think its cool that we cheer for mostly all sports, it shows really good school spirit."

They are now cheering for soccer, baseball, tennis, volleyball, basketball, track, cross country, football, and wrestling.  

                                                                                                                                                                                                                  
"It benefits all the sports players, and pumps them up," said Emily Griffin, cheer captain. "It takes more time, but is worth it to see happy people."

Sultana's cheerleaders are trying to spread their spirit school-wide.
